Job summary

Talkiatry is a clinician-led virtual psychiatry practice offering 100% remote outpatient care for PMHNPs. This role provides predictable W-2 compensation, autonomy over schedule and patient population, and minimal administrative burden in a fully remote outpatient model.

We seek board-certified PMHNPs with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience, capable of comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management within our telepsychiatry framework.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP.
• Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning and medication management.
• Psychoeducation and supportive therapy.
• Comfort in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model.
• Proficiency using EMR to document care accurately and efficiently.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and collaborative, team-based approach.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous clinical development.

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care.
• Lower to moderate acuity patient populations.
• 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups.
• Integrated in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists.
• Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.
