Job summary

Talkiatry is a remote outpatient psychiatry practice offering PMHNPs control over their schedule and patient population. The role features 100% telepsychiatry with low-to-moderate acuity cases, standard 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups, and full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning and medication management
• Psychoeducation and supportive therapy
• Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
• Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and collaborative, team-based approach
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical development

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care
• Manage lower to moderate acuity populations (anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD)
• Conduct standard 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups
• No inpatient or crisis coverage
• Work within an integrated care model with in-house psychiatrists and therapists
• Receive full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing
