Job summary

Thriveworks seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Cumming, GA, to provide telemedicine psychiatric care for adults and adolescents. You will perform assessments, determine treatment plans, and collaborate with regional staff while maintaining state licensure and prescriptive authority.

The role offers a fee-for-service (W2) arrangement with 15–20 clinical hours weekly and a salary range of $65,000–$93,000 per year, plus benefits such as paid orientation and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in Georgia.
• Three years of experience is preferred; at least 1 year psychiatry required.
• Must be licensed and reside in the practicing state.
• Completion of ADHD treatment standards training with exam.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments via telemedicine.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up; provide medication management.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans with clients.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
