Job summary
Symbotic in Wilmington, MA seeks an Integration Specialist II to startup, commission, and test PLC-controlled equipment and lead systems integration at customer sites. You will work with electrical technicians to bring up control cabinets, load PLC software, and run tests to verify performance.
This is a remote, field-based role with travel up to 75%, supporting regional commissioning projects in East, Central and West regions and coordinating with engineering, software and customer support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Experience with PLCs and HMI systems in industrial environments preferred.
- Knowledge of networking and control systems for automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Drive commissioning of PLC-controlled equipment at customer sites.
- Startup, configuration, and testing of control cabinets and software.
- Perform end-to-end hardware and system tests per project specs.
- Validate integration with customer WMS interfaces and HMI systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with engineering, software and support teams during go-live.
