Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to own and evolve automation across Playwright and TypeScript in a fully remote SaaS environment. The role requires hands-on testing of front-end applications and APIs, collaborating with developers, product owners and DevOps to embed quality into the SDLC.

You will design reusable automation patterns, integrate tests into CI/CD, and drive build verification and smoke testing to ensure robust software releases.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-end web automation using Playwright.
• Commercial experience testing SaaS applications.
• API test automation experience with REST/GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Build automated API tests covering REST and GraphQL
• Develop reusable test patterns, including page object models
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps
• Build and maintain automated build verification/smoke tests
• Investigate issues, analyze results and communicate findings to the team
• Advocate for quality throughout the development process
