Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a major client, seeks a Platform Operations and Tooling Engineer to design and modernize enterprise platforms used by software teams. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate AWS infrastructure, and manage artifacts to speed delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, CI/CD, and enterprise software environments.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and related tools.
• Experience deploying and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure with automation and cloud security best practices.
• In-depth experience with IaC and configuration management tools including Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
• Experience configuring and administering Artifactory and artifact management processes.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, and Argo CD for containerized deployments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and YAML; excellent troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and IaC best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and related development tools to streamline software delivery.
• Develop reusable automation scripts, GitHub Actions workflows, and infrastructure modules to standardize deployment processes and improve developer productivity.
• Configure, administer, and optimize artifact repositories, source control systems, and build environments to ensure reliable and secure software delivery.
• Support containerized applications and cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, and Argo CD, including platform modernization and migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and integration issues while implementing sustainable solutions.
