Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a mid–senior Platform Engineer to own the IronGate ETL platform in AWS, delivering reliable, secure, and easy-to-operate cloud infrastructure. You will design, build, and automate CI/CD pipelines and move infrastructure to IaC.

Collaborate with the product team, implement monitoring and security controls, and support data movement with PostgreSQL and other storage. This role is remote from US locations and offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a Platform/DevOps/Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, IAM, networking/VPC, security groups).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with common tools.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Experience applying cloud security best practices and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment across development, staging, and production.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure, including S3, IAM, networking, and secure data transfer and movement.
• Move the IronGate platform to Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent, repeatable environments.
• Implement security best practices, including access control, encryption, and secure configurations.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for visibility into system health.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other data storage solutions to support the data pipeline.
• Collaborate with the IronGate product team to translate requirements into robust platform solutions.
