Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks a mid–senior Platform Engineer to own the IronGate ETL platform on AWS. You’ll design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and enforce security and reliability standards for a government-facing analytics stack.

You’ll collaborate with the application team to translate requirements into scalable, IaC-driven solutions and maintain observability across data pipelines, storage, and services in a regulated, secure environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Platform/DevOps or similar roles.
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, IAM, VPC, security groups).
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using common tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Security best practices in cloud environments.
• Monitoring and logging setup (CloudWatch).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment across environments.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure, including S3, IAM, networking, and data transfer security.
• Move the platform to Infrastructure-as-Code for repeatable environments.
• Implement security best practices including access control and encryption.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for visibility.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into platform solutions.
