Job summary

Rula is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to anchor our Universal Horizontal Platform Layer. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and guide domain engineers through a unified migration to Snowflake and Medallion architectures.

This strategic, systems-level role balances deep technical work with governance, data contracts, and alignment of platform infra with our broad business strategy.

Qualifications

6+ years working on analytics engineering or data architecture at a systems level.
Experience architecting or migrating modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
Expert SQL and data modeling in Medallion architectures.
2+ years dbt for ELT pipelines; strong Git/CI/CD practices.
Bridge between technical work and business strategy; negotiate guardrails.

Responsibilities

Lead design and execution of Snowflake migration and Medallion deployment.
Negotiate technical boundaries with leadership and guide data landscape vision.
Own cost governance and performance for cloud data warehousing globally.
Design and enforce automated CI/CD tests to catch regressions and schema issues.
Scale AI tools adoption to boost team delivery velocity.
