Job summary

Rula is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to anchor our Universal Horizontal Platform Layer. You will lead the organization-wide migration to Snowflake and Medallion architectures, guiding domain engineers while preserving delivery SLAs.

This is a highly strategic, systems-level engineering role that balances deep technical work with the professional backbone to negotiate data contracts and align platform infrastructure with Rula's broader business strategy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in analytics engineering or data architecture.
• Experience leading architectural design or migration of a cloud data platform (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift).
• Expert SQL and data modeling with Medallion architectures.
• 2+ years using dbt to build ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong Git workflows and automated CI/CD testing.
• Proven ability to align data platforms with business strategy and negotiate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Snowflake migration and Medallion implementation across domain pods.
• Negotiate technical scope with leadership and set intake guardrails.
• Own cost governance and performance optimization of Snowflake warehouses.
• Design and enforce automated CI/CD testing gates in GitHub.
• Scale AI-driven tooling and automate boilerplate to speed delivery.
