Job summary

Rula, a remote-first health tech company, is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to anchor our Universal Horizontal Platform Layer. You will lead the data ecosystem migration to Snowflake and Medallion architectures, guiding domain pods while maintaining delivery SLAs.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this role balances deep technical execution with negotiating data contracts, shaping the data landscape, and aligning infrastructure with Rula's business strategy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in analytics engineering or data architecture.
• Led architectural design or migration of a cloud data platform.
• Expert SQL and Medallion-based data modeling.
• 2+ years using dbt for ELT pipelines.
• Experience with production Git workflows and CI/CD gates.
• Ability to bridge technical work and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead Snowflake migration design and execution.
• Negotiate data contracts and guardrails with leadership.
• Own cost governance and performance of Snowflake warehouses.
• Design and enforce automated CI/CD testing gates.
• Scale AI tools adoption across teams.
