Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney for a fully remote role handling plaintiff-side employment litigation from a boutique Phoenix-based practice. The position involves managing cases through resolution, with opportunities for trial, mediation, and direct client interaction.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment experience, AZ Bar in good standing, and strong motion practice. Arizona residency is preferred, with remote work across the U.S. for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
• Arizona residents preferred, out-of-state candidates considered if licensed in AZ.
• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, or leave-related matters.
• Strong background in motion practice, including drafting and arguing substantive motions.
• Trial experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters from evaluation through resolution, including trial when necessary.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and appear at hearings.
• Represent clients during mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Develop litigation strategy and maintain regular communication with clients.
• Perform legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy for state and federal courts.
