Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-Time Remote Pilot Operator to support FAA ATC training at the Fremont, CA site. The RPO will simulate pilots and communicate via a training system, enabling high-fidelity air traffic control exercises.

The role requires reading diagrams, clear communication, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary training group. Eligibility for Public Trust is expected; on-site work with CTS team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals, and speak clearly.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice system for training.
• Input proper entries to simulate pilot actions in the automated system.
• Translate displayed information into ATC terminology and phrases.
• Respond to students using standard FAA phraseology during sessions.
