Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join the CTS team at the Fairbanks ATCT/TRACON (FAI), Alaska, supporting FAA air traffic controller training services. The RPO role involves operating a simulated radar display and voice system to mirror pilots and remote ATC actions during training exercises.

Candidates will complete Classroom and Lab certifications to perform as a Remote Pilot Operator.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals; clear spoken communication.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice system to mirror pilot actions and ATC communications.
• Input entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions and translate information into ATC terminology; respond via VCS.
