The coder reviews clinical documentation, assigns ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes, and ensures accurate reimbursement across specialties. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in clinical documentation, E/M coding, CPT/ICD-10-CM, and outpatient coding; CPC or CCS-P certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Clinical Documentation experience required.
• 1–2 years of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding experience required.
• 1–2 years of physician coding experience including CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS required.
• 1–2 years of outpatient procedural coding experience required.
• 1–2 years of minor outpatient and office procedure coding experience required.

Responsabilités

• Review clinical documentation and accurately assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes.
• Perform E/M coding across applicable places of service.
• Code minor office procedures, outpatient testing, and minor surgeries.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Review records to support correct code assignment and billing.
