R1 RCM, Inc. is seeking a Physician Advisor to review payor requests and determine appropriate authorization based on medical documentation and criteria.

This remote role requires MD or DO licensure and 3+ years of clinical experience, with collaboration across payor medical directors to help facilities navigate compliant revenue cycles. Base pay ranges from $150,075 to $199,070 per year, with a target bonus of 10%.

Qualificações

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical licensure.
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency completion.

Responsabilidades

• Addresses authorization issues: documentation support or lack of support and evidence-based criteria; complex clinical evaluation of requests.
• Review and respond to payor and customer promptly.
• Engage payor medical directors to discuss authorization statuses supported by documentation.
• Provide written case analyses and perform reviews across multiple specialties.
• Serve as a clinical resource to medical and case management staff to identify, facilitate, and resolve documentation and utilization issues.
