Responsibilities

• Review payor peer-to-peer cases where authorization was denied, evaluating documentation and admission status.
• Advise clients on the appropriateness of requests based on available documentation and discuss cases with payor medical directors.
• Provide written case analyses and perform reviews across multiple clinical specialties.
• Serve as a clinical resource to medical and case management staff to identify, facilitate, and resolve documentation and utilization issues.
