Job summary

MAP International is seeking a Philanthropy Gift Officer to remotely manage a portfolio of rising to signature donors and drive fundraising impact for global health initiatives.

You will cultivate relationships, present compelling proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to align donor passions with MAP's mission. This is a remote role with travel up to 45% and focus on growing major gifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with donor databases (Agilon, Salesforce, Raiser's Edge).
• Minimum 3 years fundraising with individuals, foundations, or organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor portfolio with 5k+ gifts to retain and grow giving.
• Cultivate 90-150 rising to signature donors.
• Develop personalized engagement strategies aligning donor passions with MAP's mission.
• Gather and share compelling proposals with impact stories and data.
• Represent MAP at donor events to deepen relationships.
• Prospect high-capacity individuals and foundations to build a robust pipeline.
• Maintain daily communication with portfolio donors via phone, email, mail.
• Communicate MAP's mission and ongoing work to donors.
• Conduct regular in-person visits and virtual meetings with donors.
• Coordinate messaging and stewardship with internal teams.
• Maintain CRM with donor interactions (Agilon ONE).
• Follow moves management plans for each donor.
• Participate as member of Philanthropy team within Global Giving.
