Job summary

One More Child, Inc. is seeking a Philanthropy Officer to build and strengthen relationships with donors and prospects, manage an assigned portfolio, and secure annual and major gifts.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy, you will develop engagement plans and work across leadership to advance the organization's mission. You will cultivate donors through discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, using CRM data to track progress and inform strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nonprofit management, business, communications or related field.
• 3–5 years of philanthropy, fundraising, or donor-relations experience.
• Proven ability to cultivate authentic donor relationships and secure commitments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor portfolios and nurture long-term donor relationships.
• Develop individualized donor strategies and pipeline growth.
• Solicit and steward six- and five-figure gifts and multi-year commitments.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders and CRM data to inform fundraising plans.
• Travel within the assigned region for donor visits and events.
