Job summary

Miracle Flights seeks a Director of Philanthropy to lead the organization's comprehensive individual giving program, overseeing strategy, execution and performance from first-time donors to major gift supporters. The role develops donor journeys that acquire, retain, upgrade, and steward donors while driving sustainable philanthropic revenue, with a portfolio including annual giving, direct mail, monthly giving, and major gifts.

Remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years fundraising experience.
• Proven success in individual giving programs.
• Experience soliciting and closing gifts.
• Strong campaign management and direct mail experience.
• CRM experience; Bloomerang preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of major and mid-level donors.
• Develop and oversee annual giving campaigns.
• Grow monthly giving and donor retention.
• Coordinate integrated campaigns across channels.
• Oversee donor stewardship and impact reporting.
• Track performance and report results.
