Job summary

CREtelligent is seeking contractors to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for commercial real estate transactions. You will conduct site visits, review historical records, and prepare detailed reports in collaboration with senior consultants and project managers.

The role requires 5+ years of Phase I ESA experience, strong technical writing, and familiarity with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience conducting Phase I ESAs or related environmental assessments in commercial real estate.
Environmental Professional (EP) as defined by All Appropriate Inquiries (AAI)
Ability to conduct thorough research using historical records and regulatory databases
Strong technical writing skills to clearly communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy

Responsibilities

Conduct high quality Phase I ESAs: perform site visits and observe conditions for signs of contamination.
Review historical records, aerials, property records and regulatory databases to identify risks.
Data collection and analysis of environmental factors, land use history, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare clear Phase I ESA reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Ensure reports are accurate, compliant with regulatory standards and client requirements, using Quire templates.
