Job summary

CREtelligent, Sacramento, CA-based, is seeking a contractor to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for commercial real estate transactions. You will conduct field visits, review historical records, and prepare comprehensive reports.

The role requires strong technical writing, attention to detail, and the ability to work with senior consultants and project managers to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience conducting Phase I ESAs for commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high quality Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs): Perform detailed site visits to observe current conditions, noting signs of contamination.
• Data collection and analysis: Gather and analyze data related to environmental factors and regulatory compliance.
• Report preparation: Prepare clear Phase I ESA reports with conclusions, recommendations, and photographic evidence.
