Job summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring Pharmacy Technician I - Prior Authorization to support a healthcare call center in a fully remote role. You will review clinical information, document approvals and denials, and guide members and providers through prior authorization processes.

The position requires pharmacy terminology knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to work across multiple systems in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician with experience supporting administrative tasks, healthcare, call centers, or related environments.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication processes, and pharmacy operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handle 60-100 inbound calls per day in a high-volume healthcare call center.
• Review documentation for completeness and eligibility per established criteria.
• Document approvals and denials; maintain records across systems.
• Escalate complex questions to a pharmacist.
• Follow regulatory requirements and company policies.
