Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication distribution and data entry from a remote position in New Jersey. You will use our pharmacy software to verify prescriptions, triage inquiries, and maintain patient profiles while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high quality service.

Requires at least 1 year in a healthcare setting, HS diploma, and an active NJ license within 6 months. CPhT is preferred; a strong patient focus and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; active NJ license within 6 months of hire.
• CPhT preferred.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy technician experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Enter minor edits to dispensing records and verify dispensing quantity and NDC.
• Use pharmacy software to check and record prescription data.
• Triages calls and messages to ensure quality patient service; liaises with providers and the pharmacy.
• Establishes and maintains patient profiles and documents care plans in the system.
• Ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality of operations; participate in quality initiatives.
• Maintain privacy per HIPAA and company guidelines; act with integrity and reliability.
