Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking Pharmacy Technicians/CSR for a remote 1-year contract role. You will handle in-bound Prior Authorization calls from providers, pharmacies and members, delivering professional support through the authorization criteria.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in high-volume healthcare call centers, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with MS Office. Training occurs for about six weeks; shifts available Mon-Fri with varied hours. Compensation starts at $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume healthcare or PBM/Prior Authorization call center.
• 2+ years' experience with medical terminology and coding.
• 2+ years utilizing MS Office daily (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred but not required; trainee license considered.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound Prior Authorization calls and provide professional phone assistance.
• Maintain complete, timely documentation of reviews.
• Escalate clinical questions to the pharmacist team.
• Assist with outbound calls and processing Prior Auths via fax/ePA; monitor inquiries.
