Legacy Community Health in Houston, TX, is seeking a Contract Healthcare Recruiter – Pharmacy to support urgent pharmacy hiring needs through Ascend Sync. This remote role offers a long-term contract with potential permanent conversion, and strong preference for candidates in the Houston area.

The recruiter will source, screen, and engage candidates, partner with hiring managers, and represent Legacy at pharmacy career fairs while collaborating with Legacy’s Pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Direct recruiting experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience recruiting for pharmacy positions or transferable pharmacy hiring experience.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems to manage candidates and workflows.
• Strong consultative communication when partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Excellent candidate follow-up and positive candidate experience.
• Approachable, responsive, solution-oriented customer-service mindset.
• Ability to communicate mission-driven healthcare opportunities honestly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple searches.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for pharmacy and pharmacy-related positions to support critical healthcare hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities and provide consultative recruiting support.
• Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates using web-based recruiting tools and ATS.
• Maintain organized recruiting workflows with consistent candidate and hiring manager follow-up.
• Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience from outreach to final communication.
• Represent Legacy at pharmacy school career fairs in the Houston area.
• Participate in periodic in-person gatherings with Legacy's Pharmacy team.
• Present Legacy's opportunities to candidates in a mission-aligned way.
• Keep searches moving efficiently with urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail.
