Actalent is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a fully remote role with a base in Baltimore, MD. You will evaluate and authorize prior authorization requests from prescribers using clinical criteria in a call center environment.

The position requires PTCB or NHA certification, a high school diploma or GED, state registration, and 1+ year in retail or call center pharmacy settings. Shifts are 8 hours, 5 days per week, CST hours.

Competenze

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with PTCB or NHA certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in retail or call center pharmacy.

Mansioni

• Evaluate and authorize prior authorization requests using clinical criteria.
• Document outcomes and explain pharmacy benefit coverage and formulary alternatives.
• Escalate complex cases to a pharmacist per guidelines.
