Job summary

The Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a Remote Managing Pharmacist to lead and oversee operations across multiple pharmacy locations with a focus on regulatory compliance and patient safety. This role combines remote leadership with periodic on-site visits to Wisconsin locations.

You will coach staff, coordinate with store teams, and ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws while driving consistent, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in Wisconsin.
• Ability to travel to assigned Wisconsin locations for on-site visits.
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and applicable pharmacy regulations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized pharmacist leadership and oversight for assigned retail pharmacies.
• Build relationships with pharmacists, technicians, and store teams.
• Serve as a resource for operations, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
• Conduct regular check-ins and provide timely support and guidance.
• Coach and educate staff and promote accountability.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient care.
• Implement standardized procedures across locations.
• Collaborate with leadership to address operational concerns and develop solutions.
