Humana Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Pharmacy Hub Operations to build and lead the hub operating model across patient access and clinical services.

This role will oversee intake, benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, and patient assistance during launch, with potential evolution to broader hub areas as the organization scales. The candidate will establish workflows, staffing, readiness, quality controls, escalation pathways, and performance routines, partnering with

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or related clinical field.
• Active pharmacist or RN license in good standing.
• 5+ years of people leadership in complex healthcare operations.
• Experience with benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, or reimbursement workflows.
• Experience launching or transforming an operational function or healthcare workflow.
• Strong leadership in regulated healthcare environments.

Mansioni

• Launch the operating model across Access Operations and initial Clinical Operations.
• Establish integrated launch workflows across access specialists, resolution resources, pharmacists, nurses, and pharmacy technicians.
• Coordinate with Implementation on validation, training, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Translate manufacturer requirements, business rules, clinical protocols, and compliance obligations into executable practices.
• Establish launch staffing, licensing/credentialing dependencies, onboarding expectations, and contingency plans.
• Lead intake, benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, copay, and patient assistance navigation.
• Own service-level attainment, turnaround time, backlog, aging, productivity, quality, and end-to-end access outcomes.
