Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Care Representative to interact with customers, educate patients, and process insurance verifications and medication orders. This is a remote, full-time role with a focus on high-quality service and efficient problem solving.

Responsibilities include handling complex orders, enrollment, benefits verification, and transferring clinical questions to pharmacists. Training is provided for a smooth onboarding and weekend flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone.
• 1+ years of work experience with Windows-based applications like Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word) internet navigation, and email applications.
• 1+ years of computer keyboarding experience, skills and aptitude.
• Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of your computer and a minimum download speed of 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload. WiFi/satellite not permitted.
• Must live in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound or outbound calls with patients regarding complex Specialty orders, benefits verification, and enrollment.
• Process requests for new and refill shipments and collect information to ensure insurance coverage.
• Verify eligibility, prior authorization, and other reimbursement requirements prior to shipment.
• Assist in enrolling and tracking new customer referrals.
• Explain CVS/Specialty services to new customers.
• Escalate clinical questions to staff pharmacist as needed.
