Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for long-term care residents, responsible parties, and facility partners. This remote, full-time role focuses on accurate billing, payments, and compliance while supporting customer experiences.

You will verify insurance information, resolve account inquiries, and collaborate across departments to improve service delivery. Prior experience in health insurance billing and high-volume calls is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume call center.
• 1+ year of experience with health insurance billing (Medicaid/Medicare/Part D).
• 1+ year of experience in a remote, work-from-home environment.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm EST.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer support resource for long-term care residents and facilities.
• Verify billing details, insurance coverage, payer information, and coding.
• Update and document customer account activity in servicing platforms.
• Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and drive resolutions.
• Conduct outbound calls to reconcile balances and resolve inquiries.
• Process customer payments accurately and ensure proper posting.
• Research billing questions and resolve account discrepancies professionally.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all interactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments on service improvements.
