Job summary

CareMed Specialty Pharmacy in Houston, TX is hiring a Pharmacy Technician/Outbound Care Coordinator for a full-time remote role. You will proactively call patients to schedule and coordinate medication delivery, collect co-pays, and ensure timely order shipping.

This position requires a Pharmacy Technician Certification and at least 2 years of pharmacy tech experience; associates degree preferred. You will use our software to document activity, maintain HIPAA privacy, and deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy technician certification is required.
• Board of Pharmacy registration is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Proactively call patients to schedule/coordinate medication delivery.
• Collect co-pays and perform follow-up activities.
• Ensure continuity of care and timely shipping of orders.
• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and route inquiries to clinical staff as needed.
• Document all prescription-related information and billing according to regulations.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and communicate with supervisors about patient needs.
