Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a healthcare/pharmacy customer service representative for a fully remote role in the EST time zone. Approved working states include FL, GA, MD, NJ, NC, PA, SC, TX. The role requires 2–3 years in healthcare call center or medical scheduling, with insurance verification experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of healthcare call center or medical scheduling experience.
• Experience with insurance verification or authorizations is a plus.
• Experience with healthcare insurance is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain detailed information clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls and inquiries related to commercial pharmacy benefits, prescription coverage, pharmacy claims, and plan information.
• Assist members, providers, brokers, internal teams, and other stakeholders with pharmacy-related questions and issue resolution.
• Research and resolve inquiries using internal systems and plan documents.
• Review and interpret pharmacy benefit information to provide accurate guidance.
• Document all interactions accurately in compliance with standards.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate with internal teams or vendors as needed.
