Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is seeking a Pharmacy Analytics Consultant to provide direct support for pharmacy and medical drug information using analytics tools and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will analyze data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to management and customers to support affordability, growth, and compliance across the enterprise, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and applicable use of all tools to develop analyses, extract information and use appropriate reports.
• Proficient in SAS and Cognos and Microsoft tools.
• Ability to approach data analysis with various data mining and statistical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on projects and lead initiatives to meet business objectives.
• Analyze data to identify problems, trends or opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide analytic support for Pharmacy Division and external partners to ensure effective and affordable Pharmacy Benefit.
• Identify needs to develop new Pharmacy products and evaluate feasibility of administration and implementation.
• Communicate results and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
