Job summary

Excellus BCBS in Jamestown, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Analytics Consultant to provide direct support for Pharmacy and Medical drug information using analytic tools and applications. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to support strategy, growth, compliance, and affordability across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with clinical, financial, sales, and business leaders to recommend actionable items that improve pharmacy financial performance and help management and customers

Responsibilities

• Perform data analyses to identify business problems, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide analytic support to Pharmacy and Health Plan departments to optimize cost and quality.
• Develop and deliver actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to development of standardized reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to drive affordability and savings initiatives.
• Engage in CMS and health plan compliance considerations and audits.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and clear prioritization.
• Stay current with health plan data sources and analytics best practices.
