Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is seeking a Pharmacy Analytics Consultant to provide direct support for pharmacy and medical drug information needs using SAS, Cognos and other analytic tools. You will collaborate with clinical, financial, sales and leadership teams to identify opportunities, develop insights, and present actionable recommendations that drive affordability and value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2 years of related data analysis experience.
Proficient in SAS and/or Cognos and Microsoft tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication with ability to translate needs into requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform research on projects and lead initiatives to meet business objectives across the enterprise.
Analyze data to identify trends or opportunities for process improvements.
Provide analytics to support Pharmacy Division strategy, compliance and affordability.
Develop standardized reporting and automated dashboards to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive insights and action.
Assist in training and mentoring fellow analysts as Level II/III responsibilities grow.
