Job summary
Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc seeks a Pharmacy Analytics Consultant to support pharmacy and medical drug information needs using analytics tools. You will work with internal/external stakeholders to achieve strategy, growth, and affordability goals across the enterprise.
The role involves presenting information to senior management and customers to enable informed decisions. You will collaborate with clinical, financial, sales, and leadership teams to recommend actionable items
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Proficient in SAS and Cognos; strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with large healthcare data sets and reporting tools.
- Ability to translate data into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform research on projects and lead initiatives to meet business objectives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, problems, or opportunities for improvements.
- Provide analytic support to ensure effective and affordable Pharmacy Benefits.
- Develop and deliver actionable insights to enterprise stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program success.
