Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through Optum Life Sciences, seeks a sales contributor to grow presence in mid-market pharma. You will advance RWD licensing, HEOR/RWE, and clinical trial analytics while managing senior client relationships and aligning solutions with strategic objectives.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., travel up to 25%, and participate in annual planning to drive profitable growth and client success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of strategic business development or client management in pharma/healthcare
• 2+ years of driving relationships with senior stakeholders
• Experience selling in mid- and/or emerging pharma markets
• Experience negotiating B2B sales and influencing executives
• Ability to analyze complex market opportunities and craft creative solutions
• Proven ability to message, position, and influence clients
• Collaborative cross-functional work experience in a matrix organization
• Driver's license and reliable transportation; travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Drive growth with strategic and key pharma clients in mid-market segments
• Sell Real World Data licensing, HEOR/RWE, epidemiology analytics, and clinical trial research solutions
• Develop deep relationships with pharma leaders and provide thought leadership
• Architect Optum Life Sciences solutions with consulting selling techniques
• Ensure client objectives and initiatives align with business strategy
• Coordinate with delivery teams to meet service expectations and execution
• Contribute to annual client planning and ongoing account planning
