Cardinal Health is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to drive pharmaceutical generic product sales to Independent Retail pharmacies across the United States from a remote setting. You will prospect, build partnerships and strengthen relationships with the current customer base, targeting growth and market share.

The role emphasizes calling on pharmacies, forming long-term relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, and achieving assigned sales goals while collaborating with team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call on current and potential pharmacies in an assigned geographical area to convert new business, maintain current customers and grow market share.
• Form long standing customer relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Convert existing and potential customers' use of targeted products and ensure expanded sales.
• Identify market intelligence on competitive activity and communicate to internal resources; develop sales plans to meet goals.
• Create and maintain real-time database of market intelligence and sales activity using the CRM system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Cardinal Health offerings and customer needs; align offerings with business needs.
• Initiate introductory calls to develop long-term business relationships.
• Territory management including account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation, deal economics.
• Negotiate with customers and colleagues for mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Consult with supervisor or senior peers on complex problems.
• Understand current OS and software/hardware processes.
• Perform other job-related duties and collaborate with team.
• Participate in projects and initiatives inside/outside area as needed.
• Achieve assigned sales goals and customer contact frequency.
• Demonstrate positive interactions with customers and team members.
