Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive pharmaceutical generic product sales to an assigned group of Independent Retail pharmacies. You will prospect to create new partnerships and strengthen relationships with the current customer base.

Responsibilities include calling on pharmacies in the assigned area, building long-standing relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, and coordinating with internal teams to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call on current and potential pharmacies in an assigned geographical area to convert new business and grow market share.
• Build long-standing relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Identify market intelligence on competitors and develop sales plans to meet goals.
• Create and maintain a real-time database of market intelligence and sales activity using CRM.
• Demonstrate understanding of Cardinal Health offerings and customers’ business needs.
• Achieve assigned sales goals and maintain customer contact frequency.
