Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive generic pharmaceutical product sales to Independent Retail pharmacies. You will prospect to create new partnerships and strengthen relationships with the current customer base.

You will call on pharmacies in assigned areas, convert new business, and grow market share while maintaining strong relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred
• Strong process management, customer service, and communication skills preferred
• Self-motivated to achieve goals preferred

Responsibilities

• Call on current and potential pharmacies to convert new business and grow market share
• Build long-standing relationships with pharmacists and technicians
• Convert customers to targeted products and expand sales
• Identify market intelligence and communicate insights to internal teams
• Maintain real-time sales activity data in CRM system
• Negotiate with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
• Collaborate with supervisor on complex problems
• Perform related duties and work with team to meet goals
• Achieve assigned sales goals and maintain customer contact frequency
• Demonstrate positive interactions with customers and colleagues
