Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Product Strategy Advisor for Personal Lines—Remote. This role serves as a strategic business consultant, delivering regulatory insights, market trends, and cross-functional leadership to guide product strategy and operations.

The position involves presenting to senior leadership, supporting product implementation, and mentoring teammates. Remote work across the United States is offered with exceptions for Hawaii and Alaska.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of related work experience with typically 5+ years in personal lines P&C.
• Experience in state product management roles or related functions (pricing, product strategy, data science).
• Deep understanding of state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.
• Excellent understanding of insurance products.
• Outstanding analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of partners.
• Ability to lead through influence and drive work forward.
• Ability to conduct meetings and deliver formal presentations.
• Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Expert knowledge of insurance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.
• Presents to management levels and advises on approaches to market changes and legislative responses.
• Identifies emerging trends in assigned territory and presents findings to leadership.
• Performs sophisticated analysis and translates findings into process changes or strategy recommendations.
• Provides interpretation and insight on proposals; guides outcomes as a business consultant.
• Collaborates across the organization at all levels on cross-functional projects.
• Presents to senior management, up to VP level.
• Supports new product implementation as SME in the local market.
• Mentors and trains less-seasoned team members.
• Crafts policy language with minimal Legal assistance.
• Maintains rule manual and eligibility guidelines.
• May prepare filing objection responses and manages market conduct exams.
