Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager, Performance Marketing to drive paid acquisition for a healthcare-focused audience. This remote role will own channel strategy, budget allocation, and conversion optimization while aligning campaigns with privacy and advertising requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance or acquisition marketing, with 2+ years managing a substantial paid media budget.
• Hands-on expertise in at least three of the following channels: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, affiliate, programmatic and streaming audio, Meta, or Reddit.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling a paid channel based on member-level economics.
• Strong understanding of conversion optimization and structured experimentation programs.
• Experience building and defending reporting that measures to the end of the funnel, including handling imperfect attribution.
• Experience managing specialists, contractors, or vendors; direct report experience a plus.
• Sound judgment in compliance-heavy environments, particularly around patient privacy and advertising policy.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize paid cost per new member as a quarterly target.
• Manage budget allocation across five channels, shifting investment based on performance.
• Lead diversification of paid channels, including affiliate, programmatic and streaming audio.
• Build and manage affiliate programs, ensuring partner quality and compliance.
• Own website-visitor-to-lead conversion and lead structured experimentation programs.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of the marketing funnel and report on performance metrics.
• Direct and develop paid media specialists and manage vendor relationships.
