Eide Bailly LLP is seeking a People Operations Compliance Manager to lead the HR compliance function, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local laws. The role guides employment practices, policy administration, and risk management across the organization.

The position emphasizes leave administration, workplace accommodations, and investigations, with collaboration across HR, legal, payroll, and benefits to maintain compliant programs and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience with compliance, policy, and operations responsibilities.
• HR certification such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEOC, wage/hour, and multi-state leave requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR compliance programs, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws and update policies.
• Provide guidance on employment law, policy interpretation, and investigations.
• Oversee leave management, return-to-work, and accommodations programs.
• Lead compliance audits and reviews related to wage/hour and classifications.
• Partner with legal to ensure documents comply with laws.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and confidential records.
• Develop and deliver compliance training for HR teams.
