Job summary

CBRE is seeking a People Business Partner to assist with rollout and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures across the organization. The role sits within People Strategy and Operations and helps design, execute, and monitor HR programs.

You’ll engage in onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and training. Expect up to 40% travel to sites, including warehouse facilities, with weekly trips near airports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement counseling.
• Collaborate with managers to identify employment-related risks and initiate investigations and grievances.
• Manage HR functions such as employment, labor relations, and compensation for a business unit.
• Conduct training on performance management, diversity, and related topics.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of HR principles to solve complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge of HR disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within teams.
• Operate within broad guidelines and explain difficult information.
• Travel to sites up to 40% monthly; warehouse centers up to 50% walking.
• Prefer to live near a major airport due to weekly travel.
