Job summary

General Motors' People Analytics Center of Excellence seeks a curious, data-driven People Analytics Analyst to join our team. You'll be deployed across different parts of our business, partnering with People Analytics Consultants to deliver insights that inform talent decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.

You'll leverage your HR data knowledge and analytical skills to advance analytics capabilities, enable data-driven decisions at scale, and contribute to an employee experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years of client-facing People Analytics or Human Capital Consulting experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a quantitative focus; HR-focused degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inferential statistics and translating data into insights.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, or Python (advanced preferred).
• Solid understanding of HR data and employee lifecycle processes; data storytelling ability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex people data and deliver clear, actionable insights to support strategic talent decisions across multiple business units.
• Work independently to determine the best analytical approach, collaborating with People Analytics Consultants.
• Present findings and recommendations to business leaders in a compelling, accessible way.
• Support projects related to organizational health, hiring and retention, workforce planning, and employee experience.
• Contribute to development of People Analytics solutions by sharing feedback and ideas.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing high-impact work.
