Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a proactive pension calculation specialist for the Tier 2 Member Benefits team. The role is remote with required in-office presence as needed, and will focus on accurate retirement and survivor benefit computations, data integrity, and IRS-compliant reporting.

You will handle complex calculations, verify information across systems, and communicate with employers and members to resolve inquiries while maintaining data quality in large-scale disbursement processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with pension calculations and retirement benefits.
• Knowledge of IRS regulations for payouts and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Some college or an Associate's degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform complex pension benefit calculations including retirement and survivor benefits.
• Apply IRS regulations on payouts and reporting and ensure data integrity.
• Research and verify information related to benefits, 1099Rs, and member accounts.
• Communicate with employers and beneficiaries to verify documents and resolve inquiries.
• Utilize computer systems to retrieve data and process payments outside standard systems.
