Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a mathematically-driven Client Service Analyst II to join our DB Large Market team. This is a technical role focused on complex pension calculations and financial data navigation, with client interaction and special projects.

You will respond to client inquiries, assist with benefit calculations for simple plans, and support the consulting team in maintaining strong client relationships while working in a flexible, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Mathematics or Actuarial Science.
• Proven ability to perform complex calculations in real-time.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible across client projects.

Responsibilities

• Respond to plan inquiries from clients promptly and professionally.
• Assist in calculating and processing timely payment of termination, retirement, and death benefits.
• Support the consulting team in fostering strong client relationships.
• Coordinate information flow between clients and trustees.
• Reconcile plan assets and memberships.
• Prepare year-end pension statements.
• Prepare membership and asset data for actuarial valuations.
• Apply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations per plan provisions.
• Use pension databases to ensure data accuracy.
• Attend internal training and participate in client meetings.
