Job summary
Elevance Health is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist/Wellness & Recovery Specialist to provide support to members through telephonic means and occasional in-person training. The ideal candidate will have at least an AA/AS degree and certification in Peer Support, with strong skills in care coordination and telephonic customer service. This position offers a salary range of $20.89–$37.61 per hour based on location and experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in health services or peer support services.
- Peer Support Specialist certification required.
Responsibilities
- Teach and role-model the value of the member’s recovery experience.
- Assist members in working with case managers to achieve recovery goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning.
