Recovery Innovations is seeking a Peer Support Specialist I to provide recovery training and peer support at the Crisis - Bridge Center For Hope in Baton Rouge, LA. This full-time, non-exempt role supports individuals on their recovery journey and advocates for their needs.

Responsibilities include teaching recovery tools, coordinating with clinical teams, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires Peer Support Certification and a high school diploma, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Peer Employment Training with Certification as a Peer Support Specialist.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Guest care and advocacy to engage individuals in a recovery partnership.
• Teaches recovery and life skills using recovery tools.
• Models hope, personal responsibility and self-advocacy to support recovery goals.
• Coordinates with clinical teams to arrange services or resources.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
